Good Girl Gone Human
Good Girl Gone Human is an ongoing conversation that explores what it means to re-humanize ourselves. After a lifetime of trying to be seen as “good,” Holly and Kristina are diving into the idea of what it would feel like to put that label down- and embrace the whole spectrum of their humanity. This conversation leans into the big messy questions, like: what are the risks of putting the good label down? What would happen if we did accept the whole spectrum of our humanity? They look at the ways we dehumanize ourselves in the name of being good and the tools they’ve found for reclaiming those parts of ourselves we deem “bad.” There is an invitation for anyone who has felt dehumanized to join the conversation and re-humanize themselves in community.

This week, Holly and Kristina share some personal reflections as they wrap up Season Two of Good Girl Gone Human! They check in with their own good girl parts and discuss how the podcast has been both healing and activating for this part of their healing. As they move into a break from recording, they talk about the bravery of taking a break and leaning into rest. The temptation to push through and continue to produce can lead to burnout so they are humanizing themselves as they admit the need for rest and recovery.
The podcast will be back after this break so stay tuned on socials (@goodgirlgonehuman) for updates and information. If the podcast has been meaningful for you, please consider taking a moment to subscribe, rate, or even leave comments. Thank you for being with us on this journey of rehumanization!
