Melissa Harmer is the communications director for the City of Raymore, Missouri. Harmer has been with the City since 2017. She is a Certified Public Manager and was named a Top 100 Local Government Influencer in 2025 by ELGL - Engaging Local Government Leaders.

Harmer started the Say More in Raymore podcast to share insights about the work the staff does at the City, while humanizing the public servants who work every day to make Raymore a safe, attractive and welcoming place to live.

Raymore is the fastest growing city in the state, located along I-49 just southeast of Kansas City.
