Wendell Honanie Jr.
Wendell Honanie Jr. is the Program Manager for the Maternal Health Innovation Program at the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, where he works to strengthen maternal health initiatives and partnerships across tribal communities. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.
Before transitioning fully into public health and advocacy, Wendell spent a decade in the retail industry while completing his studies. During that time, he conducted a capstone research project examining consumer spending patterns among diverse ethnic populations.
Wendell has also served on nonprofit boards and as a tribal education liaison, helping build sustainable relationships and collaborative initiatives with tribal partners. He is recognized for his work in program strategy, operations, partnership development, and mentoring the next generation of workforce leaders.
