Hello, If you don't already know me I am Danielle and I run Danielle's Cakes Pershore. If it's making cakes, answer messages, shopping or washing up (and believe me there is a lot of washing up) it is being done by myself.

Why did I start Danielle's Cakes Pershore?

Well, If I'm honest it was a number of reasons..... I was unhappy with working for people, that didn't really appreciate me or the work I did.

I also found that I wanted flexibility that you just don't get form the average employer as I wanted time for my little boy, someone has to drop him at preschool and pick him up and I am so grateful that it can be me.

Oh!.....  I love baking and decorating cakes, bringing joy to people with both the wow effect and then the taste! I mean what could be better than artwork you can eat!?

From growing up 10 minutes from Sudeley to spending every summer since I was 15 years old with the weddings at Sudeley, it is a dream come true to now be Head of Weddings. Sudeley is a truly unique and romantic Cotswold castle nestled in amongst rolling hills where the most special day of couple’s lives take place. It is an honour and privilege to be a small part of that. My passion for weddings started when I was 15 and volunteering led me to see my first weddings take place. I used to sneak away from my post just to watch and be apart of the atmosphere. To this day it is still the magic and the electrifying atmosphere that draws me into weddings. It also helps, of course, that I love love!!!!

Hi – I’m Jayne and together with my husband Ian and our two boys George and Max, we’re Team Orchard.

The Orchard at Munsley is a working farm and our family business: I grew up in this area so I know it really well. We got married on this very site 14 years ago, so we fully appreciate how special it is. And it’s why we’re so excited to offer this beautiful space to other couples who are looking for a relaxed and informal vibe for their wedding celebrations.

Ian (a fireman turned farmer) is bar manager and general dogs’ body while I sort everything else out! I have a background in events management, planned my (sorry our!) wedding and co-ordinate each and every wedding here. I am always on site for set up and on the day and with you throughout the planning journey.

Katie looks after the Updos. She's award winning bridal hair stylist(South West wedding awards overall winner- BEST BRIDAL HAIR STYLIST, SWWA Regional winner-Gloucestershire 25, TWIA Regional finalist 22 & 23, HBA Finalist 22) who's mission to help you embrace your individuality and create fashion forward whimsical bohemian looks with a unique twist. Although podcasting is a 1st for Katie, being a hairstylist she knows how to talk! She a girl mum who lives in the Cotswolds with her husband and 2 dogs (Buddy the lab and Merlot the cocker- Yes he is named after the wine!) When she's not creating the Updos Katie loves to drink red wine, eat chocolate & go for long Cotswolds dog walks with a pub stop. She loves meeting new people and vibing out to 90s & 00s R n B. Katie's favourite parts of a wedding day are the first looks, and the last hour before the aisle walk. Her claim to fame is that she once hung out with Travey Bingham (Jordan from Baywatch) in Boston,USA.

Laura looks after the 'I Do'. She is an award-winning (TWIA West Midlands Celebrant Of The Year 2025 and Cotswolds Wedding's Best Celebrant In The Cotswolds 2024) Celebrant and MC who loves creating personal, unique and unforgettable wedding ceremonies. Laura used to be a breakfast radio presenter before she became a celebrant so she is very excited to be back behind the mic for the I Do and Updos podcast! She lives with her husband, two little boys, and two dogs (Betty and Barney the cockapoos!) on the Warwickshire / Gloucestershire Border. When she's not creating ceremonies Laura loves to eat pizza, go for boozy brunches with the girls or go on long Cotswolds dog walks with her family. She loves running (slowly) and singing (badly). Laura's favourite parts of a wedding day are the vows, the first kiss and the drinks reception of course! (Cheers babes!) Her claim to fame is that Ed Sheeran once gave her parenting advice! 

Leanne joined the team in 2021, starting her journey as a part-time Social Media Assistant while pursuing her Master's degree in Strategic Marketing. She rapidly rose to the role of Sales and Marketing Manager. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving both marketing strategy and sales growth, while also playing a pivotal role in shaping the brand and expanding the business. Working closely with Venue Manager Jacob Palmer, Leanne has helped elevate the venue’s profile. As a soon-to-be Shack bride herself, set to tie the knot at the venue in March 2026, Leanne’s genuine passion for the space adds authenticity to everything she does.

Lottie joined The Shack Revolution in 2023 as the Wedding Bookings Coordinator, bringing a heartfelt commitment to ensuring every couple feels safe, celebrated, and free to be themselves. With a talent for uncovering creative possibilities, she helps couples bring their wedding vision to life as a joyful, stress-free reality. Outside of her role at The Shack Revolution, Lottie runs her own business chaperoning dogs at weddings, making the venue’s dog-friendly vibe a perfect fit for her passion and personality.

Natasha got her first glimpse into the world of beauty from her hairdresser auntie and went on to name Margot + Lace for her daughter, so it’s fair to say that a love of the industry is in her genes. Natasha’s passion for her work is evident in every last sweep of her makeup brush, and she loves seeing brides walk down the aisle with the confidence that her expert styling brings.

Scott from HC Visuals produces one of a kind wedding films that are unlike anything else out there! 

Based in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire, HC Visuals capture weddings with real energy and personality—no clichés, no cringey edits, just films that feel like you.

When not filming weddings, you’ll probably find him at Black Hound Tattoo, the studio Scott runs with his wife & names after their cockapoo, Stevie (aka Stevie Licks), it’s where the edits happen whilst being immersed in tattoo culture.
