Only 29% of the AI workforce are women. In some leading firms, it’s closer to 10%. Despite the promise of AI as a transformative technology, the gender gap in this field is wide—and growing. Women are also 25% less likely than men to adopt generative AI tools, risking further marginalisation in an AI-driven world.

In this episode, I explore the troubling data (or lack of it) on women in AI and ask: are we on the brink of repeating past mistakes when it comes to gender equality in tech?
