Magnetar: We Own...Your Future
magnetar
/ ˈmæɡnɪtɑː /
noun
- a type of neutron star that has a very intense magnetic field, over 1000 times greater than that of a pulsar.
Genre: Sci-Fi • Mystery • Dark Comedy • Audio Drama
In a future where memory can be rewritten and truth comes in encrypted fragments, Magnetar follows the agents, analysts, and outliers working for a shadowy organization known only as The Company.
Each episode peels back another layer of a vast, interlocking conspiracy involving artificial intelligence, cosmic phenomena, and the quiet terror of not knowing what’s real.
Part mystery, part satire, Magnetar mixes sharp wit with speculative science—where bureaucrats debate black holes, androids suffer from existential dread, and cosmic anomalies are just another line item on the mission log.
From the creators at Shoestring TV, Magnetar stars Eric Carlino as Agent Pot Roast and Michael Cunningham as Agent Beef Stew, along with an ensemble cast of misfits navigating surveillance, sanity, and the stars.

Episode Summary:
A "special day" at the Narwhal Station takes a jagged turn when a mysterious caller breaches the Company’s encrypted lines, proving that even Level 11 bulletproof glass has its breaking point. As the pressure mounts—both atmospheric and political—the Madam Census Taker and Madam Enumerator clash within the depths of the Quantorium over how to "polish the apple" of a narrative that is rapidly splintering.
Meanwhile, Agent Beef Stew is forcibly led by I.C.O. Mordecai to the Fulcrum, a subterranean artery where the world pivots and "chosen" agents must face an inevitable reckoning. From the silent abyss of the earth to a jungle clearing where luxury meets high-tension terror, the Company’s secrets are being surgically peeled back.
Sixteen cabins. One shooter in the dark. And a birthday wish that might be the last thing Agent Rhubarb Pie ever says.
