On this episode of The Your Story Matters Podcast I am excited to have a co-host, Araceli Chavez, Manager of the Family and Community Engagement Specialists at Anaheim Union HSD. She is heavily involved with our community schools approach and the Community Engagement Initiative (CEI). Araceli and I are going to have a conversation with Julio Perez, from the OC Immigration Coalition. Julio facilitated a Know Your Rights presentation at our January District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) meeting and we knew we needed to amplify his voice as far and wide as possible. We are so excited to have this conversation today.
