The Your Story Matters Podcast Episode 11: Dr. LeAnne Salazar Montoya
Our brains are hardwired for connection and stories. This podcast is all about amplifying both. Now more than ever our stories matter. On this episode of the Your Story Matters Podcast I am excited to have a conversation with Dr. LeAnne Salazar Montoya. Dr. Salazar Montoya is an author, professor, and former superintendent whose work focuses on strengthening the educational leadership pipeline and preparing the next generation of school leaders. A first-generation scholar from rural New Mexico, she brings personal and professional insight to her writing and teaching, drawing from more than two decades in K–12 and higher education. She is the creator of The Radiance Project, a national anthology series that shares the personal narratives of underrepresented leaders, and the author of Dandelion Diaries, a practical guide for educators pursuing roles in school leadership and reflective narratives. As a professor of Educational Leadership and Policy, Dr. Montoya teaches effective practices for aspiring principals and superintendents, helping educators build confidence, competence, and the capacity to lead with purpose.
