In this power-packed episode, I had the privilege of sitting down with Carrie Ann Barrette, a licensed mental health clinician and Kingdom-wide advisor, whose heart is fiercely committed to helping Christian women reclaim their identity, purpose, and power.
Carrie's journey is nothing short of transformational. Raised in New England without knowing Jesus, she found faith at 13 but lacked guidance and ultimately hitting a dark low that nearly cost her everything. But that moment of despair became a divine turning point when she encountered Jesus in a powerful, personal way. That encounter led her to seminary, and what followed was a radical revelation: God’s Kingdom is active today, and we’re called to reign in it.
Now, Carrie works specifically with Christian female entrepreneurs and business owners, offering quick, intensive coaching sessions that help women sever ties to past trauma, align with their God-given identity, and walk boldly in their authority as daughters of the King. Her approach is deeply prophetic, rooted in Holy Spirit guidance, and designed to bring rapid inner healing and transformation.
One of the most powerful moments in our conversation was hearing about the inspiration behind her book, Put Your Crown On, a message God gave her while driving to church. This book boldly reminds believers that we are not just survivors, we are heirs, warriors, and rulers, meant to reign in every area of life through Christ.
