Let’s Surrender the Illusion of Control AND Embrace Controlling What We Can

Writing in pencil—I would refuse and write in pen only, thinking that I could keep my plans from changing. However, marrying into the Navy showed me that the control in my grasp was only an illusion. When I finally embraced what I could control, my perception of my circumstance changed drastically.
