Dr. Christine Boone, OTD, OTR/L is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Occupational Therapy at Presbyterian College. With over 20 years of experience in pediatrics, including outpatient, early intervention, and school-based services, Christine brings an “out of the box” way of enhancing interventions and improving outcomes in pediatrics. Along with a passion for occupational therapy, Christine is also a certified 500-hour yoga instructor and enjoys running (and Disney) in her free time. If you don't see her running around, she is at home with her husband, Gordon, two teenagers, and their dog Charlie.

"I am an occupational therapy educator, researcher, and co-host of the While You Grow podcast. Passionate about rural health, pediatric occupational therapy, and higher education, I specialize in neuroanatomy, neuromuscular anatomy, and pediatric development in an OTD program. My research focuses on innovative teaching strategies and student engagement in OT education.

I am also the author of Pebbles' Great Adventure, a children’s book inspired by my work in pediatric occupational therapy.

Outside of my career, I cherish time with my husband and our three children while balancing my roles as an educator, clinician, and parent."
