According to recruitment firm Cadient, "the percentage of seasonal holiday employees retained as permanent staff varies widely by company and industry, but some employers convert as many as 35-40% to permanent positions. The overall retention rate in the retail industry, which heavily relies on seasonal staff, is often high due to the nature of the work."
