Army Vet goes home to care for mom.

Terry closed his restaurant in Texas to care for his elderly mom on their family farm in Indiana. What happened next, no one could have predicted. In this "Helping Mom" podcast, Terry gives fellow caregivers real-world tips and straight-talk motivation to love & serve those who loved & served us--our parents!

Terry is disabled Army Veteran, with 4 university degrees, and proud Dad to 5 daughters. He has taught university in Europe, Asia & Africa. He completed Harvard University Faith & Leadership program. His work includes Soldier, attorney, champion basketball coach, and Fortune 500. His restaurant was 2-X Best of Region.

Terry is medical guardian to his mom, Sherry, and full-time caregiver to her brother, Uncle Perry, who also lives on their family farm. For his own therapy Terry raises pure AKC White German Shepherd pups for military veterans & other great families, thru his non-profit PatriotPups.org WOOF!

In 2023 Terry closed his successful restaurant in Texas, to return to his parents’ family farm in Indiana to care for his widow mother. His wife soon left him, seeking "freedom and career," and took their 3 young daughters.

Terry channeled his pain into creating the Veteran-owned, non-profit PatriotPups.org, raising AKC White German Shepherd pups for military veterans and other Great Families. He also launched helping.mom podcasts to help fellow caregivers.

Terry holds 4 degrees, has been to 28 countries, and worked in 10 states for military, US govt, Fortune 500, and creating 4 businesses. He is proud Dad of 5 daughters. He completed Faith & Leadership Program at Harvard University, and has taught 11 university courses in 4 countries, plus created leadership programs in Asia, Europe and US, including Univ of Texas. He coached a state championship basketball team, and did missions work in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe.
