Arcadia Deschane

Arcadia's storytelling journey has been shaped by lifelong friendships and shared passions. Being named right out of a Sci-Fi novel, she seems to have been born a lover of fantasy and science fiction. She has spent a lifetime reading, writing, and building worlds—and bringing us happily to the table with her. While she’s been writing for fun forever, she decided to turn pro in 2023, and we couldn’t be luckier to have her wielding both her pen and her maniacal organization skills in our favor. Her love for organization borders on legendary— yes, when she DMs, her game modules are color-coded, tabbed, and impeccably labeled. Naturally, this makes her the one responsible for keeping us all on track—and if we stray too far off course, she might just cast magic missile at us.

Malcolm O'Stephan

With a background in theatre, Malcolm is a master of improv and can sit down with nothing but a story in his head and a blank page and still lead us through the most epic journeys as our DM. His voice acting, impressions, and NPCs have breathed life into Atoria, making every session an experience to remember. While his long locks from high school are a distant memory (from raising kids), his signature glasses—yes, sometimes more than one pair—or a well-placed hat are always in play. He has been envisioning, creating, and writing about worlds since childhood, turning his imagination into experience. Most importantly, Malcolm makes sure that no matter where the story goes, everyone at the table is having a great time—and laughing along the way.

Tori Selznick

As our resident creative genius, Tori Selznick has been producing and lending her voice to the Trendy Lobotomy podcast since 2020, bringing history, lore, and oddities to life. Since the 7th grade, when they stumbled upon their mutual love of The Hobbit, Tori & Arcadia have been swapping favorite books, and building Atoria together—one story at a time. And yes, Tori has been playing burglars since the beginning. Around the gaming table, Tori reigns as the ultimate rules maestro—if she doesn’t know it, odds are it’s not in the book. And while being neurodivergent at our table isn’t uncommon, Tori’s particular blend of neurospicy adds just the right kick to her creativity, making every project, story, and adventure even more dynamic and engaging.

Jess Bardin

Jess Bardin has been writing her entire life, but she’s been getting paid for it (like a real professional) since 2018—proving that her Master’s degree in English was, in fact, a solid investment. She brings a sharp eye for detail and a knack for storytelling to everything she creates. And if that wasn’t enough, Jess also brings music to the table—literally. Whether it's a well-sung tune or a haunting melody on her violin, she breathes life into her Bard characters, making our adventures even more immersive. A true globetrotter, Jess has lived in Tokyo and France and takes every opportunity to explore fun and exciting places around the world. When she’s not writing or traveling, she’s dazzling us with her encyclopedic knowledge of trivia and random facts—earning her the affectionate nickname C-3PO around the office. Jess is working on her first novel, with a target publish date of late 2025 or early 2026.
