The unique setting, collaborative and repetitive interactions of playing at the table reveal strong, safe and lasting friendships for many gamers. The newest generation also finds the hobby a safe and preferable alternative to traditional dating circles and methods. After the break, Arcadia drills down to some of the specific work being done in showing social and behavioral impacts of using TTRPGs in therapeutic manners. Science has stepped forward with an agreement that there are measurable benefits, and now the work of anchoring those measurables and pinpointing applications is beginning.
