[00:00:00]
Welcome to Inside the Polygraph. I’m your host, David Goldberg. Happy New Year, everyone, and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and an excellent start to your 2026. As you can see, I’m still in my party outfit, so before we get started, I’d like to take off my party hat so we can be a little bit more serious.
In this new year, we are going to be talking about new topics, and we’re also going to be talking about some old topics with a new twist. We’re going to have some exciting new guests on, and I hope you’re really, truly going to enjoy this new season.
In today’s episode, we’re going to talk about something exciting that I want you to consider, and that is change.
Change in your life.
Every New Year, everyone makes New Year’s resolutions. Not very many people keep them. I know I haven’t. I’ve ruined a lot of New Year’s resolutions. I’m going to go to the gym, I’m going to work out, I’m going to stop eating candy—or at least a lot of candy, which I love—or I’m going to stop doing this or that.
A lot of you out there do the same thing. We say we’re going to stop something, start something, or do something new. We go all in with our resolutions, but we fizzle out later on down the road.
[00:02:00]
But you know what? Some of the resolutions we never make are the ones that matter most.
We don’t say we’re going to get out of toxic relationships.
We don’t say we’re going to leave a dead-end job.
We don’t say we’re going to apply for the dream job we should have applied for 10 or 15 years ago and make it happen.
We don’t say, “I’m so unhappy every time I walk through the door with my significant other, and this is going nowhere.”
Or, “I’m sick and tired of being accused of something I never did, and the person accusing me doesn’t believe a word I say. It never ends.”
It’s like Groundhog Day. Wake up, do the same thing. Wake up, do the same thing.
[00:03:00]
These are the resolutions that are never mentioned. Never.
So in this new year, how about taking charge of your life once and for all? Seriously. Tell yourself, “This is what I’m going to do.”
You have to do it on your own. There’s not going to be a knock on your door with someone offering you a new job or a new life. If that happens, great—but it’s rare.
You have to make change in your own life. It’s not going to happen unless you make it happen.
People don’t change because they’re afraid of change. It causes anxiety. It causes fear—fear of moving on, fear of a new job, fear of losing a friend, fear of moving to another state. That fear keeps people stuck.
[00:05:00]
So how about making the change you’ve been dreaming about?
Think about when you’re alone in your car. What do you do? You talk to yourself. You sing. And no, that doesn’t make you crazy. You’re saying things you wish you could say to someone else, or you’re hearing the answers you wish someone else would tell you.
So listen to yourself. Do what you’re really hearing.
If you’re in a toxic relationship, understand that toxic doesn’t always mean physical abuse. It can be verbal. It can be emotional. It can be false allegations.
[00:06:00]
And sometimes it’s far worse.
You could be accused of physically, emotionally, or sexually abusing a child you love and have raised. That kind of accusation hits out of nowhere. It’s a gut punch. It cuts your feet out from under you.
It happens. I’ve helped thousands of men and women clear their names from false allegations, and they do it through a professional polygraph examination.
[00:08:00]
I know there are people who say polygraphs are nonsense. That’s wrong.
When you go to an experienced, empathetic examiner—one trusted by attorneys, therapists, doctors, and guardians ad litem—polygraph reports can be entered into court and used to restore lives.
That’s how people get their children back. That’s how they get their lives back.
If you’re in that situation right now and you want resolution, reach out to me. I’ll help you.
[00:09:00]
In 2026, you need to rock your life—and you need to do it stronger than ever.
Don’t look back. Looking back means you’re living in the past. Look forward. That’s where your goals are.
As a polygraph examiner, I’ve resolved virtually every issue you can imagine. If you have a question, call me. Email me. Text me. Reach out however you need to.
[00:11:00]
There are examiners everywhere, but there are also inexperienced and unempathetic examiners who ruin lives. They rush exams, provide minimal reports, and don’t care about outcomes.
That’s not what I do.
I take my time. I listen. I provide closure so you can move forward and never look back.
[00:13:00]
In closing, take charge of your life this year. Only you can do it. If you need my help, you know how to reach me.
