Out Of Her Mind with Kobi Pollock - The Podcast
Why you still feel "not good enough" - How your nervous system & beliefs were wired.
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you ever wondered why the same patterns keep showing up in your life no matter how much “work” you do?
In this episode of Out of Her Mind, I’m diving deep into how limiting beliefs are formed, why they live in your body and nervous system (not just your thoughts), and why lasting change starts with safety not forcing yourself to “think positive.”
Using simple, relatable examples, I explain:
- How our earliest experiences (ages 0–7) create unconscious beliefs
- Why we make events mean something about who we are
- How beliefs like “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not worthy,” or “I’m not loved” get reinforced over time
- The role of the nervous system and why change doesn’t stick when we’re stuck in survival mode
- How your brain’s reticular activating system (RAS) keeps proving your beliefs true
- Why slowing down and coming back into your body is the first step to rewiring your mind
I also share parts of my own story... burnout, survival mode, and rebuilding my life and why this work is at the heart of the Out of Her Mind movement.
We finish with a gentle grounding practice to help you drop out of your mind and into your body, because you don’t need to be doing more to be worthy. You already are.
If this episode resonates, I invite you to reach out, share your story, or simply take three deep breaths today and come back to yourself.
Women don’t heal alone, we heal in the reflections of each other.
