Luca Castellani
Luca Castellani is an international trade law specialist with extensive experience in electronic commerce and digital trade frameworks. He holds a law degree from the University of Torino, a doctorate in comparative law from the University of Trieste, and a master’s degree in international law from New York University.
From 2004, he served in the secretariat of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), where he worked on international sales and e-commerce, contributing to the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records and initiatives on paperless trade facilitation. He also served as the first Head of the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific.
Castellani has published extensively on international and comparative trade law and is widely recognised for his work on legal frameworks enabling digital trade.
