Roots of the Rise
Short episodes with grounded wisdom for healing, growth, and reconnecting to your true self.
Roots of the Rise is for the spiritually curious soul who’s already begun their inner work — but still feels like something deeper is calling. Maybe you’ve read the books, tried therapy, or dabbled in meditation, yet the same patterns keep circling back. You know there’s more to life than constant self-improvement, but you’re not sure how to live from that deeper truth you keep glimpsing.
Hosted by Sarah Hope — Ayurvedic health practitioner, spiritual mentor, meditation teacher, biodynamic craniosacral therapist, and energy healer — this podcast offers grounded wisdom for authentic alignment and the courage to rise into your truest self. Drawing from thousands of hours of client work, group facilitation, and her own journey through childhood trauma, grief, and the profound rediscovery of love and joy, Sarah offers a grounded, heart-led space for inner transformation.
Each short episode (10–20 minutes) offers honest reflections, spiritual insight, and simple practices to help you bridge the gap between knowing about growth and actually living it. You’ll leave feeling more centered, hopeful, and self-trusting — reminded that the path isn’t about striving to become someone new, but remembering who you’ve always been.
This podcast is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Sarah is not a licensed therapist, and nothing shared here is meant to replace the guidance of a physician, therapist, or any other qualified provider. That said, she hopes it inspires you to grow, heal and seek the support you need to thrive.

Hello and welcome to Roots of the Rise with me, Sarah Hope. This is the membership episode. I am very excited to announce the details for the membership I've created for this community. For a long time, I've wanted a way to support all of my people, past and present, one-on-one clients, podcast listeners, workshop attendees, all in one place. If you've listened to my episodes on mentorship, or really most of my episodes, you know how strongly I feel about its importance. Does everyone need 90 minutes a week with a mentor one-on-one? Probably not. In fact, I know many of you are already supporting yourselves in other meaningful ways. But do I believe it's incredibly valuable to have someone you can bring questions to and a like-minded community to walk the path alongside? Absolutely. For the first 30 years of my life, I was drowning in depression and anxiety, trying to figure everything out on my own. I tried traditional therapy, anti-anxiety meds, everything I was told should help. But nothing truly worked. My childhood was shaped by surviving constant emotional abuse. Then both my mothers, adopted and biological, passed away within 36 hours of each other. Three months later, I got divorced, all when I was just 25. I eventually remarried, believing I had finally found stability and happiness, only to experience a house fire, the loss of both my dogs, and a second divorce. Those are just the highlights, stories I'll share more in depth about in my About Me episode coming out next week. And that's only the big T traumas, not even counting the countless smaller ones, you know, through all of it. I was left with the same question over and over and over again. How can I be okay? Is it even possible for me to be okay? Then I discovered Ayurveda, heart-based meditation, craniosacral therapy, spiritual mentoring, shamanic practices. Something clicked. At first, I knew what I should be doing. I just couldn't do it consistently. But through the practices I've now become certified in, I finally figured it out. My life went from gray to technicolor, from functional depression to joy. And I have spent over 10,000 hours dedicating myself to learning everything I can about consciousness-based integrative healing so that I can understand not only how to heal and grow into the best version of myself possible, but how to help others do the same. Because if I can go from the shell of a person I used to be to being this deeply grateful and in love with my life, you can too. Over the past decade, I've worked with so many women who thought they were never going to find the happiness they sought or relief from the pain they were carrying. Women who knew exactly what they should do, but something invisible kept them from doing it. If you're anything like them, you've tried meditation apps, journaling, 30-day challenges, self-help books, and nothing has worked quite as well as you hoped. Maybe you've read Tara Brock's Radical Acceptance, but still can't access acceptance when you actually need it. Maybe you love Mel Robin's let them theory, but every time you try to implement it, you just can't quite let them. Maybe you've read about soul contracts and spirit guides, but you have questions and no one to ask them to. The practices aren't the problem. Finding information isn't the problem. Something is blocking you from living what you know, from integrating all this knowledge you've gained. Access to a live person is the missing element because you can't see what you can't see, not alone. Now, the women I've worked with, they've built study practices that actually fit into their real messy lives because they finally understood what was getting in the way. They've shifted from spinning their wheels to getting real traction and movement in the direction they've always wanted to go. One thing has become crystal clear to me. Self-help is not meant to be done alone. Sure, it can be, but that is the long, slow, frustrating route. It's the route where you wonder if you're going in circles, where you're saying, wait a minute, didn't I deal with this six months ago? Why am I back here again? I must be doing something wrong. I don't want you stuck there a minute longer than you need to be. And that's why I created the Rising Membership, a monthly membership where you don't just learn more practices, you don't just gain more self-awareness. It's where you finally get the help to see what's been blocking you, clear the limitations that have been running the show, and build steady habits with the community that really gets it. No fluff, no endless content you never implement. This is about working with a real live person, me, every month, having a safe space to share where you're at with like-minded people, to be offered a structure to moving forward. Reminders about what you might be missing. You don't have to do this alone. We can't heal in a vacuum. We need mirrors. Let me be that mirror for you. In this membership, you get the assistance you need to shift from insight to embodiment. You don't need another course nagging you to finally start it. You don't need another newsletter to skim while five others pile up. You've begun the work. Now you're ready to integrate it on a deeper, more personal level. This membership blends community support with the opportunity for asking your burning questions so you stay aligned, consistent, and held as you rise into a new version of yourself. So here is what's included in this membership. Of course, all Roots of the Rise podcast episodes. You know what you're getting with this podcast. Short, bite-sized episodes on a variety of topics, all designed to help you move forward with your healing on all levels. Starting in 2026, episodes will be released every Monday. As a rising member, you will have exclusive bonus episodes released just to you, as well as guided meditations connected to the episodes when relevant. For instance, remember the energetic boundaries episode? As a rising member, you would receive a guided energetic boundaries audio designed to help you actually practice and integrate what I shared in that episode. You will also get an easy-to-access list of the journal prompts I provide every episode. No more trying to remember them later or needing to fast forward through an episode to find what you're looking for. Rising members will get at least five prompts every week so you can really focus in on the topic and either think about them all at once or do just one a day. And if something comes up for you during those prompts, share it in the community thread. See what others have to say. Let me respond to what came up for you. You will also have access to monthly heart-based meditation training. If meditation has been an issue for you in the past, you just can't get your mind to turn off, it feels impossible, get ready to learn a form of meditation that is easy, effortless, and life-changing. Take the course every month if you want to to help you stay on track and ask questions. Too often you learn a meditation practice with no continued support, which makes it so easy to mistake a simple shift in your consciousness or purification with doing something wrong. Don't wonder, here you get to ask. This is also why, as part of your membership, you get a one-hour monthly call for heart-based meditators, so you have an opportunity to ask questions and refine your meditation practice. I'm also looking forward to offering you a one-hour master class every month, which includes a guided meditation centered on real, lived themes like forgiveness, boundaries, and presence. We will go deeper into the teachings and practices that help you truly embody what you're learning. And as a member, you help shape what we focus on. I always have ideas about what would feel most supportive to cover, but you get to vote and co-create the direction of these master classes. And the associated guided meditations are intentional. They are meant to be listened to over the course of a full month. This isn't about hopping from topic to topic or collecting endless practices without integration. You don't need a new meditation every day. You need the depth, healing, and embodiment that comes from steeping yourself in one focused theme and seeing what a month of true presence can create. There is a private community thread in the app with weekly input from me. Connect with others who get it. When you're struggling at 10 p.m., you can reach out. You're not alone anymore. Get other opinions, other support, as well as mine. There will be a resource library with PDFs, meditations, and rituals tied to the monthly themes. Everything in one place so you can come back when you want to. This will grow and grow the longer this membership exists. And perhaps most importantly, there will be one 90-minute monthly live group call for reflection and QA. Ask your questions. Here is where you say, I just watched this reel on Instagram about past life regressions. Is that something I should do? Or I just read that forgiveness should be complete and absolute, but I can't forgive my supposed best friend for what she did to me. Does that mean I'm not as spiritual as I thought I was? What's the difference between Vedic and Western astrology? Whatever it is, ask your questions, get support, hear from other women on this path. You know, this is where you get the mirror you need. I have been in many mentoring classes like this one, and what I see over and over again is that we all struggle with some basic common themes. One person might ask the question, but likely it's going to be applicable to just about everyone in the group in some capacity. I've spent the last decade learning from five incredible mentors who together have over 240 years of experience in energy healing, meditation, psychospiritual therapy, Ayurveda, and inner growth. Add my decade, and that's 250 years of wisdom you can tap into. If a question comes up that I don't have a clear answer to, or one I'm personally curious to hear one of my mentors or all of them their perspectives on, I'll consult them and I'll share that insight with you as well. And finally, you will receive a 10% discount on all classes and retreats, whether I'm offering them in person or just online. I'll be offering in-depth courses on subjects like authentic alignment, the chakras, gratitude, not prerecorded, but with me live. Because especially with this work, it's presence that makes all the difference. This membership is about integration over consumption. It's about having a mentor, someone real to help you know for sure you're on track, recognize when you're on the brink of a breakthrough, and rise to the next level. Now, what I am really excited about, I know I've said that a few times, but I am. I'm excited about all of this to be able to offer it to you. What I'm excited about is that this support lives inside an app you can download right on your phone. You don't have to log on to a computer or set at a desk in order to access the materials. I don't know about you, but if I'm lying in bed struggling to fall asleep, I want to be able to simply reach for my phone, open an app, tap my favorites, and listen to a guided relaxation or heart centering practice to help me drift off. And if a question arises as I'm winding down, I want to be able to quickly type it into the community forum while it's fresh, without walking downstairs to turn on a computer or trying to remember it the next day. If this feels like what you've been waiting for, click the link in the show notes to schedule a 30-minute discovery call to see if it's right for you. You may know me through listening to this podcast, but this membership is about creating a real working relationship, one where I get to know you and understand what you are specifically navigating. This isn't an anonymous or distant experience. If I am truly going to support you, we need to establish a genuine connection before we step into mentorship together. And that's what this Discovery Call is all about. Don't wait to schedule it. The first 10 founding members will receive a deep discount for their first three months. I am thrilled to offer this to you, and I hope you'll join me as we continue to rise together. Remember, know who you are, love who you've been, and be willing to do the work to become who you are meant to be.
