K.O. Lewis is a Louisville native who’s made Owensboro his canvas — both as an educator and as a contemporary artist. A former Kentucky Wesleyan College football player turned assistant principal, K.O. has spent his career mentoring students and shaping young lives with the same passion he brings to his art. His paintings, often centered on Black excellence and empowerment, blend bold expression with storytelling that challenges and uplifts.
