Becky Ruvalcaba has known the Congregation of Holy Cross since she was in her mother's womb, and served alongside the sisters, brothers and priests in many capacities. She is currently Director of Pastoral Formation for the M.Div program at the University of Notre Dame, in South Bend, Indiana.
Brother Philip Smith CSC belongs to Midwest Province of Holy Cross Brothers, where he served 50 years as a high school English teacher and most recently as archivist. In his first few months at that job, with a little push from the Holy Spirit urging him to "look up and to the right," he discovered over 6000 letters between Br. Columba O'Neill and others documenting thousands of cures, which convinced him to pursue Columba's case for sainthood. Due largely to Br. Philip's zeal and steadfast efforts, Br. Columba O'Neill has recently been named a Servant of God.
Carolyn Woo has a long and generous history of collaborating with the Congregation of Holy Cross and serving the Catholic Church. She's directed the national arm of Catholic Relief Services, been Dean of the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame, and contributed her wisdom and skills to a panoply of boards for Holy Cross apostolates and other organizations.
Dianne Barlas is the initial Vice President for Mission at Holy Cross College-Notre Dame, in South Bend Indiana. She has been a prolific lay collaborator with Holy Cross her entire adult life, starting in parish social justice ministries, and stays connected to social justice in her current role.
Dr. John Cavadini is an internationally heralded theologian and beloved teacher at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana, where he also directs the McGrath Institute for Church Life.
Dr. Lisa Kirkpatrick wears multiple hats in her role as Vice President for Student Affairs and Administration at St. Edwards University in Austin Texas. She was largely formed in Holy Cross by the Brothers there, and lives their commitment to formation, transformation and hope in the context of building community.
Fr. Bill Dorwart CSC has literally sailed the seven seas throughout his long priesthood, serving multiple tours of duty as a US naval chaplain. He has also ministered to college students and faculty and to his Holy Cross confreres as Provincial Superior and as local superior at our Lady of Fatima House in Notre Dame IN, and Casa Santa Cruz in Phoenix, NM.
Fr. Gordon is Pro-vice-chancellor of the University of Notre Dame-Bangladesh.
Fr. Dick Berg CSC has served Holy Cross in many roles for over 60 years, and he is just getting started.
Fr. Jim Gallagher CSC currently serves as Rector of Moreau Seminary, in South Bend Indiana. He comes to that work after stints in the Congregation's Vocations Office and in Campus Ministry.
Among his many years of faithful priesthood, Fr.Jim Lackenmier has served as President of Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, many national task forces for Congregation business, and is currently the local superior ot Our Lady of Fatima House in South Bend, Indiana.
The ebullient Fr. John Dougherty has served Holy Cross parishes for over thirty years, from Indiana to Oregon to Texas. Of all the ministries possible in the Congregation of Holy Cross, it's his passion, and the fullest days invigorate him.
Fr. Kevin Grove is a professor of theology at the University of Notre Dame, where his course for undergraduates and M.Div students are regularly touted as rigorous and life-changing. He is also assistant chaplain for faculty there, and maintains a very active scholarly agenda.
Fr. Nate Wills is a Holy Cross priest who has dedicated his life to Catholic education, teaching at every level from grade school through graduate programs. He serves as chaplain to the Notre Dame football team, teaches in the Alliance for Catholic Education's Remick Leadership Program, and just published a book with Ave Maria Press: Pray Like a Champion Today (use code PRAY20 for a 20% discount), stories of hope and inspiration from football fields and weight rooms.

Stacey and Josh Noem met at University of Notre Dame in a freshman seminar and have been together ever since, serving as avid lay collaborators in a variety of capacities alongside Holy Cross religious. Stacey directs the spiritual formation component of the M.Div program at Notre Dame, and Josh currently serves as an editorial director at Ave Maria Press. They have three children.
Longtime Holy Cross collaborator Terry Lee began his Holy Cross journey teaching English and Social Studies at Moreau High School, where he went on to become Principal and President. Now he serves as Director of School Sponsorship for the Moreau Province, and is shepherding the effort to form a PJP--a Public Juridic Person--of the 12 high schools that will be part of the 2028 historic merging of the Moreau, US and Midwest provinces.
Whitney Daly has served Holy Cross as an educator in the faith in many capacities over the years. Currently she is the chief mission integration officer for Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills Ohio.
