I always thought I'd be a coach for a living. I trained for it, I prepped for it, I job shadowed and interned for it. Then life happened. Years later when my kids got into sports, I didn't want to coach. I wanted someone else to do it. And then my kids suffered because of it. Now I coach baseball and girls basketball and my seasons overlap to a never ending whistle, blowing, practice-planning, and game scheduling lifestyle. I've made my mistakes and continue to do so, which makes me an expert in youth sports mistake making. Now, I want to help you the parent/coach.
