Martyn has spent over 60 years recording the Earth’s voice - from Arctic ice fields to African savannahs. As the producer and sound recordist for Little Listens, he brings real animal sounds and wild soundscapes to life with extraordinary depth and care.

His archive is one of the largest collections of nature sounds in the world, capturing the beauty, mystery, and fragility of the planet. For Little Listens, Martyn doesn’t just record sound—he builds entire worlds children can step into, listen by listen.
