Multi-award-winning infectious diseases specialist, A/Prof Kanhutu has received national recognition for her contribution to health equity initiatives. Achievements include acknowledgement as a Top 10 Australian Chief Information Officer, winning the Women’s Agenda emerging healthcare leaders award and nomination to the Victorian Honour Roll.
As Dean of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, A/Prof Kanhutu supports the professional journeys of over 30,000 medical specialists across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. A vocal advocate for global health equity, her career portfolio encompasses technology, policy, board governance, media, education and business.
Testament to her commitment to community wellbeing, A/Prof Kanhutu continues to provide patient care in the hospital and as a member of the Medical Board of Australia.
