This is a True Crime podcast that takes our listeners back in time to rediscover the crimes of vintage villainy that time forgot. We include old newspaper ads from the year of the crime that we are covering just for fun.
Monica has a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology and has been teaching at a community college for many years for both criminal justice and psychology departments. She likes to dig into the reasons behind the criminal behavior and looks for clues in the old newspapers to figure out what was going on and what drove these folks to commit these crimes. Monica also minored in history in her undergraduate degree, so historical crimes are right up her alley!
Olivia is a student of Family History Research and hopes to work as a forensic investigative genealogist someday. Her ability to trace genealogy and find copies of official historical documents is impressive. With Olivia's expertise, the dates, locations, and people we discuss are as precise and historically accurate as possible.
Christian is Olivia's brother! We've told him for a long time that his voice is perfect for radio or voiceovers. We were thrilled when he agreed to record some sound bytes for us! He is our main "commercial guy" and also contributes quotes for our criminals, prosecutors, any ol' voice we may need. His voice as been described as "caramel coated thunder" and we agree.
