This weekly series is designed to equip pastors—both on the African continent and worldwide—with faithful and practical insights into the appointed texts of the One-Year Lectionary, also known as the Historic Lectionary. Each episode explores the pericopes for the upcoming Sunday, offering exegetical study, theological reflection, and homiletical application.

Rooted in the rich heritage of Lutheran preaching, these studies aim to help pastors rightly divide the Word of Truth, bringing the timeless message of Christ to their congregations with clarity and conviction. Whether you are preparing your sermon or deepening your understanding of the text, this resource is here to serve you in the task of proclaiming Christ crucified for sinners.
