Stephen has worked in tech for many years, but prior to his career he studied acting at Toi Whakaari in Wellington. He currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand with his wife and two daughters.

In his spare time Stephen plays D&D and other tabletop RPGs, video games, and enjoys making music.

He also hosts another podcast called "Slight Reliability" all about site reliability engineering (SRE), observability, performance engineering, and observability.

Tom works in performing arts education, directing and producing youth theatre across Auckland and beyond. He has a background in drama, creative writing, and script development, and is especially passionate about helping young performers grow in confidence and creativity.

He currently lives in South Auckland, where he supports tutors, develops new content, and oversees major productions.

In his spare time, Tom runs tabletop RPG campaigns, writes fiction, and enjoys reading fantasy literature, with a soft spot for Tolkien, gothic horror, and grimdark sci-fi.
