Women in Distress is a nationally accredited, state-certified, full-service domestic violence center in Broward County, Florida. WID adopts an empowerment-based model. WID provides victims of domestic violence with safe shelter, crisis intervention and resources, and raises community awareness through intervention, education, and advocacy. 

Dr. Parker shares important information for abuse victims about the many resources & places to turn locally and nationally.  She talks about the rapidly growing abuse of teen dating violence.  She remains dedicated to bringing awareness, help, and hope to victims to give them a better life.    Please help us share this message and the important resources.
