Twelve years in the dental field have taught me about organization, how to be precise and efficient in every detail of planning, the value and reward to be found in a hard day's work, and the importance of teamwork. As an EFDA/EFODA, I have perfected my ability to multitask, anticipate the needs of my patients, team, and doctor, and I have learned that attention to detail is a key component to working in the dental field. The past 4 years have honed my skills on the business side of the dental field, and it has pushed me to work smarter than I ever have before. Being in charge of patient follow-up, treatment planning, insurance coding and billing, claims, accounts receivable, payroll, and accounting has helped me with time management, delegation, and organization.
