Dan Pyles

Dan Pyles is a passionate advocate for recovery and mental health, drawing from both personal experience and professional training. He is eight years into recovery from opioid and benzodiazepine addiction—a testimony that fuels his mission to help others find freedom and healing. As a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Dan offers peer-based support rooted in empathy and hope. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Health in 2024 and is currently pursuing a master’s in Clinical Psychology. His long-term goal is to earn a PsyD and become a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in trauma, substance use, and behavioral health recovery. Dan also serves as the Executive Pastor for Community of Faith Church, where he integrates faith, mental health, and compassion in serving others. He believes recovery is real, healing is possible, and no one is beyond hope.

Justin Miller

Justin Miller is, first and foremost, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, he now resides in Christopher, Illinois, where he serves as the pastor of Ezra Church of God in Pershing, Illinois. Justin is a husband and father of four, deeply committed to both his family and his faith.

Professionally, he works for Take Action Today and is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. In this role, he walks alongside individuals facing significant challenges such as substance use disorder, mental health struggles, and chronic homelessness. Drawing from his own lived experience, Justin shares the story God has given him to bring hope and encouragement to others. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Warner Pacific University. After nearly 20 years of battling addiction, Justin found true freedom and purpose through Christ—and now dedicates his life to helping others discover the same hope and healing.
