Dr. Andrea Mata
Dr. Andrea Mata (Dr. Dre) is a clinical psychologist, national speaker, and founder of BrightSpot Families. The daughter of a Mexican immigrant, she grew up on Chicago's south side and graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University before earning her doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology from Kent State University. After nine years as a college professor, she founded BrightSpot Families to fortify families through high expectations and high support. She is the author of The Number Two Parenting Book.
