Rodrick Miller is President & CEO of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, Miami’s official economic development organization, where he leads efforts to attract high-value jobs and investments, promoting inclusive growth in a global market. A nationally recognized economic development expert, Miller has secured over $6 billion in investments and created 50,000 jobs by strategically aligning public-private stakeholders in communities including New Orleans, Detroit, and Puerto Rico. His career includes executive roles at Invest Puerto Rico, Baton Rouge Area Chamber, and Greater Phoenix Economic Council, along with founding Ascendant Global, an economic strategy firm. Fluent in Spanish, Miller holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard and a Bachelor’s in International Business from St. Augustine’s College.
