Hee Suk “Hee” Jung is a seasoned corporate innovation executive at SK Group, recognized globally for bridging startup technologies with legacy operations. He serves as Vice President of the Global Innovation Center at SK Discovery, and since December 2024, also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of SK Chemicals America. Hee joined SK in 2008 through procurement and project management roles across SK Construction and SK Gas, including assignments in Houston and Canada. In April 2018, he became Head of Investment at SK Gas, relocating to Silicon Valley to pivot the business toward cleantech and climate-tech startups. Since August 2022, he has overseen SK Discovery’s global venture activities across energy, healthcare, and proptech sectors. Hee has received recognition as a Global Corporate Venturing Emerging Leader in 2022 and 2024. Based in California, he and his team target startup investments from Series A to pre‑IPO stages across North America, Europe, and SE Asia.
