Jason Jay, PhD, is Director of the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative and a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His teaching, research, and advisory work focus on corporate sustainability, innovation, and systemic investing. He is co-author of the international bestseller Breaking Through Gridlock: The Power of Conversation in a Polarized World and has published in Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Stanford Social Innovation Review, among others. Jason’s current research explores how investors can drive systems change on climate, biodiversity, and inequality, and he plays leadership roles in networks including CSP, TransCap, TWIST, and FEST. He has advised organizations ranging from Novartis, Bose, and Sun Life to the World Bank and Environmental Defense Fund. At MIT, he teaches flagship courses on Innovating for Impact and Business Strategies for a Sustainable Future, reaching thousands of leaders worldwide.
