Robert Carrillo grew up in California and was educated at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in History and Social Work. Robert continued his studies at Pepperdine University, where he received a Masters in Divinity. Later, Robert completed a doctorate in Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. After returning to San Diego, he and Michele led the San Diego Church of Christ for 10 yrs. Robert Carrillo then served as CEO of HOPE Worldwide for four years. He worked serving the poor in over 55 countries around the world. He currently serves as Vice President of the Mountain Theological Seminary and President of The Way Ministry. Robert and Michele have been married for 34 years. He and Michele remain deeply in Love, enjoying their children, grandchildren, dogs, and parrot. 

Jennifer Konzen, PsyD, LMFT, CST, CCDC.  Dr. Konzen is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified sex therapist, and a certified chemical dependency counselor. Jennifer teaches and trains internationally on mental health, trauma, self-care and burnout/compassion fatigue, counseling sexuality and counseling addiction. She is a two-time nationally award-winning researcher and an adjunct professor in San Diego at Alliant International University and online at Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology.  Dr. Konzen is the author of The Art of Intimate Marriage and Redeemed Sexuality, the newly released The Ransomed Journey: Couples Recovery from Addiction and contributing-author to Journey of the Soul. Jennifer lives with her family in beautiful San Diego, California where she has been involved with shepherding and leading in the married and youth and family ministries.
