Simon Bones
Simon Bones is the founder of Genous, a retrofit specialist helping homeowners and landlords navigate the complex world of energy efficiency with clarity and confidence. With a background in management consulting, Simon spent much of his early career working across energy, property and infrastructure services, before co-founding and successfully exiting consultancy firm Credo. He later combined his commercial expertise with a long-standing interest in climate science, including time as a visiting research fellow at the University of Bristol. Frustrated by the confusing, sales-led nature of the retrofit market, Simon launched Genous to provide independent, data-driven advice and delivery. Known for his straight-talking, pragmatic approach, he is focused on helping the property sector make smarter, more informed decisions in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
