Jay Webster

Alongside his wife, Ann-Janette, Jay has spent the last three decades making things up for a living. He has helped to create books, plays, independent films, albums, paintings, community events, and even one offspring. Only the last one is an undisputed success.

Now, Jay is tackling many of our most pressing issues: the problem with pants, what’s so wrong with being wrong, is anger the fast food of emotions, and his life as an acrobat.

This is Jay’s second book. His first offering is the children’s book, The Bird and the Moon, which was written with the help of his wife and daughter. This beautifully illustrated hardback book tells the story of a sleep-challenged cardinal who doesn’t quite fit in. The book is made even more special by the accompanying original music from Ann-Janette along with narration by his then six-year-old daughter Evanjalyn.

Ann-Janette Webster

Ann-Janette grew up the product of a musical family.  With two performing parents, it wasn’t long until she discovered the piano... and, ultimately, her own voice.  That transcendent voice would become the amplifier of her one-of-a-kind, quixotic heart.  It’s a sound of hope and love, pain and beauty.

Ann-Janette’s musical accomplishments also include writing and performing the songs for an original rock musical, LoveTown.  She followed that experience by lending her music to two short films, Travelers and Last Night. She also recently provided the song and inspiration for a Children’s book, The Bird and The Moon.
