Ben Keaton played Father Austin Purcell in the iconic TV series Father Ted.  He has an Olivier Award for writing and directing and an Olivier Nomination for Best Actor in a Musical.  He won the Perrier Award for his solo show Intimate Memoirs of an Irish Taxidermist.  Dirty Stupid Wisdom is his response to doing a lot of things without understanding what it all adds up to.  

He's directed puppets and acrobats, dancers and actors.  He's written 6 TV series and countless corporate videos.  He's also a poet and failed musician.  All of that experience comes together in these essays, delivered in the same deep Irish voice his father gave him.
