Hey guys, welcome back to the pod. I'm not going to do my formal intro today. I feel like doing a pretty just laid back episode. I have so much to catch you up on. Here we go. I've been tested in the past week or so. It's been a lot between sick kids not having any cleaning help that I'm used to or help with the kids. Days off from gan, , I smashed my car. And it was in the shop for like a while. And then on top of everything, I found lice in my daughter's hair and I got my whole entire family cleaned and checked. Thank God it was just my daughter, but you know, precaution. and we cleaned every single linen in our home. So that was a lot to do without any help. And it was extremely, extremely, extremely stressful. To say the least. During this time I was really able to exercise on my normal schedule and everything just felt so out of control and I want to tell you what I did to stay sane. Now there's this big movement of like let's not exercise hard and put extra stress on our body because it rises cortisol and we have to be easy on ourselves and all this. It's baloney. When you stress your body through exercise, please tell me that you knew this episode was going to go here. When you stress your body through exercise, you're actually prepping it for real life. Stress happens. Avoiding stress and keeping your nervous system calm or whatever is BS. The reason why we practice nervous system regulation is so that in times of stress, we actually know how to bring ourselves to a place where we can handle it, even though we're feeling stress and cortisol is spiking. If we never spank our cortisol, how are we supposed to manage life? Because that's life. Life is stress."

"There were two days during this whole fiasco of no health and lice and blah, blah, that I wasn't able to exercise. And I actually felt like my life was falling apart. I think my body is just so used to getting the feel good hormones in the morning that under two days that I didn't have them, I actually felt completely lost. And then when I finally did go back to exercising, like I really just took two days off. It's not that crazy, but it affected me immensely. But when I finally got back into my rhythm by Tuesday,"

"I was on a high like I've never been on before after exercising. Even today I was like, I felt like on top of the world. I'm not even ovulating yet. It's only like follicular phase right now. So I know it's like from the workout. And yeah, it's just really important to stress yourself out on purpose during exercise because you can handle real life stress so much better. And I'll tell you, I was super stressed, but I can proudly say that as stressed as I was,"

"Yeah, I was like a little bit snappy, but I did not like yell at my kids. I was definitely a little bit moody. I can't lie. I was moody and I was like down in the dumps for a couple of days and I definitely cried a good amount. But I kept it together. Like I think I did a really good job even though I had a really hard time. I think it would be very easy for me to say like, my God, it was terrible. It was so hard. And it really was. It was extremely hard. Like I'm used to having a lot of help in the house."

"On a daily basis, I don't have any family in this country. So I really am reliant on the help. So it was a huge adjustment for me and my husband, but we totally made it through to the other side. And I really just want to thank exercise. Like also God, I poured my heart out. I was like, I need strength. And I actually did feel like I got this super strength power to clean my entire house, do laundry, the dishes, the like, like"

"Bleaching the bathrooms. I've never done any of this in my life. Like, I usually just have the help and now it's like Christmas vacation so I'm not gonna have anyone in my house helping me until Sunday run the place and that's that. Like listen, like people always ask me like, how do you do it all? How do you do it all? And the answer is I have full-time help. Like, I have a few extra hours every day of my life because I don't clean that much to be frank. Like I'm not shy about it that I have full-time help. Like..."

"You might be doing laundry and dishes on a daily basis and I'm not so I have that extra time to do stuff so the answer is that I don't actually do it all I just delegate and I'm able to and I'm blessed and I don't I mean I I hope I don't take it for granted I don't know but I know it's a privilege I really do know it's a privilege and I don't want to come off as like spoiled because I'm really not like I work really hard my husband works really hard in order to maintain"

"A lifestyle like this and obviously it comes with sacrifices. If you're spending on help, you can't spend on other things, but you know, I really value time, so I'm happy to delegate cleaning to someone else. Anyway, don't feel like I have to explain myself and my help further than that, but I'm just really happy I was able to practice what I preach and stay sane. I'm not going to tell you I stayed regulated. I, again, I was a bit snappy."

"I did freak out a little bit, but at the end of the day, everyone was fine. My house is clean right now. I did it all by myself. I put my big girl panties on and I survived lice, no health, not having a car. I just, can't even believe what I'm capable of. Like I really never felt like I was capable of doing this. And again, shout out to high intensity exercise."

"And shout out to Hashem, God, for giving me strength. And I really just wanted to keep this episode quick and easy and just let you know that if I can do it, trust me, you can do it. I'll just tell you another quick little story. was at a workout class the other day and it was like an easier day for me, but the workout was actually hard. Meaning like I had the intention of like, this is an easy day, but the workout actually was pretty tough, but I was lifting like heavier than most"

"People are all people in the class, I'm not really sure. But the girl next to me was like, whoa, like how are you so strong? And I was like, I need you to know that like before I started working out, I was the like least athletic and coordinated person in the whole entire world. And it took me 15 years to get to this point. So it definitely wasn't built overnight. But I know there's like a lot of women out there that are like super intimidated of working out. I wish I could like show you pictures and videos of what I looked like when I first started."

"It was really hazy, like nabach. It was really sad. Like I really was not able. My form was horrible. I didn't have coordination. I don't know how to breathe. I don't know how to do anything. But you know what? I just kept going. And I could honestly say I am very strong. Even today in my workout, my workout partner was like, holy cow, you're so strong. Like I look at you and I wouldn't expect it. Whatever. But I am pretty strong."

"And if I can do it, then literally anyone can because I started from absolutely nothing. And if it sounds sexy to you and you're like, I can't do it, I'm just like a regular mom. I'm just like a regular girl. Guess what? So is everyone that's ever done it. I could get you from zero to a pretty good place in six weeks. As you know, Zoe and I have been working on a six week program."

"That's going to change the way you feel from the inside out, as cliche as it sounds, we break down your breath, your core, your posture, your pelvic floor strength, and your overall strength and your mobility. And we're basically teaching you everything from the bottom up so that you have exactly what you need to feel hot in your body, good in your body, strong, confident, that you know how to exercise, that you know how good form works, and that you can just walk around feeling like..."

"You can do anything and everything, not to mention the mental aspects of it also. If you could go through the six week program and you have the patience to do so, just by committing yourself to three workouts that are maximum 20 minutes each, three times a week, which in my opinion is super attainable and not intimidating at all, then you could actually get the benefits I'm talking about where you have a super stressful week and you could just get through it. You could breathe through it. You could just get there without losing it."

"So the link to the waitlist is in the show notes and I'm so excited to see you on the other side. Core Girls Club is going to be epic. It already is epic."
