Britanny Shelledy, DMSc-Ed, PA-C, Accuity's Clinical Content Manager

Britanny Shelledy, DMSc-Ed, PA-C, is the Clinical Content Manager at Accuity. She is a certified physician assistant with over a decade of experience across diverse specialties including orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, urgent care, and aesthetic medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Medical Science with a concentration in education while continuing full-time clinical practice, reflecting her dedication to advancing both patient care and medical education. Prior to joining Accuity, she served as an Associate Clinical Education Director for a PA program, where she developed clinical curriculum and collaborated with regional campuses to support student success. In her role at Accuity, she applies her clinical expertise and academic background to create accurate, high-impact educational content for healthcare professionals and coding teams. She is passionate about bridging the gap between clinical practice and coding accuracy through evidence-based education.

Dr. Brittany Congress

Dr. Brittany Congress received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Georgia and while there, she also played Division I Soccer. After graduating magna cum laude, she attended medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. She then specialized in Emergency Medicine and spent many years in emergency and urgent care settings. When she is not working, she enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with her husband and 14 year-old dog.

Leyna Belcher

Leyna Belcher, DNP-C, MSN, RN, CCDS, CCDS-O Clinical Content Manager at Accuity, in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. With more than a decade of experience in CDI, implementing successful inpatient and outpatient CDI programs. CDI improvement is a passion of Leyna’s and she has implemented several projects to better improve quality and accuracy within medical record documentation for enhanced revenue cycles. Collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team departments, Leyna has launched proven education strategies and coordinated efforts to ensure documentation reflects utilized resources and maximizes the care continuum. She has served on the ACDIS Furthering Education Committee as a tenured member as well as spoken at several National Conferences and published in multiple CDI journals. Leyna has a servant leadership mentality and advocates for bettering the CDI world through engagement and education in various platforms.

Mary McGrady, BSN, MSN, Accuity's Vice-President of CDI Services

Mary has over 25 years of health care experience, including nursing and consulting. She has spent the past 14 years dedicated to CDI. In her role as VP CDI at Accuity Healthcare, she has had the opportunity to partner with over 400 hospitals in retrospective CDI work. Mary has been in a unique position to learn a variety of hospital’s approach to CDI.  Under Mary’s leadership, the Accuity CDI team has grown tremendously with over 100 CDI query writers delivering compliant queries for clients.   Prior to joining Accuity Healthcare Mary worked as a CDI Director at a large academic medical center in NYC.  She has also spoken at ACDIS national conference and ACDIS local chapter meetings, as well as NYHIMA.

Robert Jones, MBA, Accuity's Chief Financial Officer

Robert Jones has an extensive career spanning more than 22 years in the CFO role for several healthcare service industries, including outsourced pharmaceutical IT, patient education, employee wellness and revenue cycle management. Prior to his experience in healthcare, he spent 11 years at American Express in marketing, finance, strategic planning and international. As Accuity’s CFO, Robert leads the finance team and works with executive leadership to develop, execute and manage Accuity’s strategic growth efforts. Robert is a graduate and class of 1988 Valedictorian of NYU’s Stern School of Business, from which he holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Business Administration. Robert is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children in Essex, New Jersey’s foster care system. He also serves on CASA of Essex and Sussex’s Board of Trustees in the role of treasurer.

Verona Loldholz, DC, CCDS, CCS, came from a diverse clinical background,; her years of experience include medical laboratory services and practicing chiropractic medicine. Happily, she has worked in CDI since 2012.
