Cara Kelly

Cara Kelly has been working with dogs since June 2010 as a member of Chrissy Wohltmann's team at Canine to Five, Baltimore's premier dog care business. What started as part time gig that suited her love of the outdoors, nature and animals has since evolved into a full time career. Her passion for dogs began when she, on somewhat of a whim, got her first pup while living in Jackson, Wyoming - a highly intelligent, extremely naughty Black Lab. "I was woefully underprepared for pet ownership!" But, unbeknownst to her at the time, that pup would become an invaluable teacher who would inspire a career in learning about these incredible creatures: dogs. Fast forward twenty years, she and her husband, Brendan, live on a farm in Sparks, MD, with their boys, Alex and Kelly as well as their Chocolate Lab, Juniper Peach. When she’s not walking or talking about dogs, Cara is an active singer/songwriter and music teacher in the Baltimore music scene.

Chrissy Wohltmann

Watching a movie, a character fumbled into dog walking. At a crossroads in her career, Chrissy was intrigued. Looking into the industry, she was pleasantly surprised to see it making leaps and bounds while the economy around her was in dismay. At first, she was blown away by the reports and then quickly remembered that we all consider our dogs to be like family, therefore we budget for them!!! Canine to Five opened for business in May 2007 to provide loving care to Baltimore dogs in the most professional and reliable manner possible. Pack oriented and exercise minded, the team always offers superior customer service. Celebrating the special bond between humans and dogs, Chrissy and Cara created the podcast, Dog is Love, to build a wider community of conscious dog owners, teach the language of dog and how they help us become better humans.  Chrissy lives in Maryland with her sweet family.
