Jen Knoch

Jen Knoch is a Toronto-based sustainability advocate, book editor, gardener, and self-described lover of jars — someone deeply committed to climate action and living with care.

Jen facilitates a powerful Climate Emotions Retreat here in Ontario, which is actually how we met! She is also someone I deeply admire for really living her values — from growing native plants and rescuing forgotten ones, to cycling the city, building up community food systems, and showing up for her neighbours in ways big and small.

Sustainably Amber

Amber is an aspiring low waste individual, who is a firm believer that it doesn’t have to cost money to live sustainably. You may know her as @sustainablyamber on Instagram — she's a creative force who makes magic out of what most people would toss without a second thought.

She’s gone viral for projects like turning a discarded lampshade into a gorgeous outdoor food net, and she’s the kind of person who can take thrifted finds or literal roadside junk and give it an entirely new, and beautiful, life.

Amber grew up in rural Pennsylvania where she's been creating with what’s available to her since a young age, thanks to her parents who taught her how to upcycle. She currently live in Texas with her husband, who also loves all things sustainable.
