Gary O-Brien

With over 25 years as a professional Animator and his experience in graphic design, Gary’s artistic journey would not be possible without his fundamental enjoyment and passion for painting.  The craftmanship-like process of taking a coloured liquid and applying it on canvas to form shapes, space, light, shadows and texture is something that he is a constant student of.  The discipline to push through painstaking hours to encapsulate the smallest details is something that he hopes his viewers revel in as much as he does.

With every brushstroke, sometimes using the most miniscule brushes, his audience can be assured that great care has been taken to portray each painting’s subject in the most realistic way.  His artwork exemplifies his own personal interests and aspires to strike a chord and connect with those that pore over his art.  When the artist and the viewer can connect through a visual image, that is where the intangible magic thrives.
