Managing the Generation Gap in Law Enforcement

All generations have inherent differences from each other.  Gen X, Y, Z, Boomer, etc. have stereotypes while, not 100% accurate, tend to ring true across most members of the group.  Developing an understanding of both your own generation, and those surrounding you, will help you to understand motivations and ideologies of your co-workers, supervisors and subordinates.
