The girl who wasn’t supposed to make it grew up to lead a movement.  Sally was told she wouldn’t live past her teenage years. A rare medical condition was supposed to be the end of her story. But what if you don’t accept the script you’re handed? She didn’t. Now she’s run marathons on four continents. She’s a sought-after speaker, advisor, and host of Unstoppable: Stories that Move podcast. She’s not just surviving — she’s rewriting what’s possible. 

Rue Spence, owner of the podcasting agency Sonivia, is dedicated to empowering women and queer people to claim their space in podcasting. With previous careers spanning from social work to theater, she brings a unique perspective to podcasting. 

Rue's journey has honed her passion for heart-led storytelling and inclusivity. Her experiences in the podcasting industry led to the creation of SONIVIA, an avenue to champion underrepresented voices. With unwavering dedication to her mission, Rue continues to break down barriers to create an inclusive and inspirational space so that all voices can be heard.
