13. Alex - The other side of cancer.. being the support person
This week on Bits and Boobs, we’re doing something a little different - I finally convinced my partner, Alex to jump on the mic and share what it’s actually like being the support person through cancer, the fear, the grief, and the quiet strength that holds everything together. Whether you’re going through treatment yourself or love someone who is, this one’s for the support people who often sit in the shadows.
We also chat about the first community event, Art of Awareness - painting boobies on canvases, journaling, and raising money for So Brave. It was wholesome, emotional, and the first of many. And… a tiny bit exciting: All Friends here caps are now live.
