Daniel started his legal career in civil litigation, where he worked on dozens of cases involving deceased and incapacitated individuals – many of them in probate courts. As a litigation attorney, Daniel observed countless ways that things go badly for families, friends, neighbors, and closely held businesses when people do not properly plan for their death or for possible incapacity. Strongly believing that he would provide more value by helping people plan for death and incapacity than by litigating after something goes wrong, Daniel developed a passion for estate planning. Daniel founded iPlanLaw PC to meet his clients’ planning goals and bring them peace of mind about their estates, their assets, and the future of their loved ones.

Daniel earned a J.D. magna cum laude at Texas A&M University School of Law, a Ph.D. at St. Louis University, M.A. at the Univ. of Dallas, and a B.A. at the University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto.
