I have told a couple decent players I ran into in the last week since meeting Allison about the podcast and will continue to do so for years to come ! Thank you, Ms. Fisher, for making sure I knew about it and to spread the word ! !
Love the podcast. Pool has a great history and needs told, and you all do a great job.
Absolutely love you guys and love the podcast!
Terry Beer here, Mike Gonzalez, I'm so happy that you're part of the team with these two folks that I have had a bit of history with... Mark is the only pool instructor I've ever had and the only one I've ever needed. I refer to his book which I call the "Bible of Pool" many times a week and I'm still reading it. My first hand experience with Allison was many years ago as a league player in St. Louis. A friend of mine won the party with Allison contest that APA had every year and Allison came to my home bar to do her "Party" / Exhibition. We all had a great time and Allison even showed me a kickshot that I still use to this day. She is a warm, friendly and lovely person. And by the way Allison I still owe you a six pack of beer. We bet on our "beat the pro" game. I think I made two balls. Played a lockdown safety and she ran out! LOL. And to show you what kind of person she is... 2 years later I'm at the APA championships in Las Vegas and Allison is there. I'm walking down the long hallway to the main room and I see that Allison is coming down the hall towards me. She was completely inundated with well-wishers and fans, so I decided not to say anything to her. Well she passed by me in about 3 seconds later. I hear her voice coming from behind me saying "You still owe me a six pack of beer!" That tells you everything you need to know about Allison Fisher. Allison, I think you're the GOAT of women's pool, and Mark, I think you're the GOAT of pool construction! And Mike Gonzalez, I'm beginning to think you might be the GOAT of podcasting, comple
looking forward to it. Was just watching some of your matches from as far back as 2000-2005 on YouTube. There was only one match from 2004 at the Florida Classic that I attended but it was Jennifer and Karen. Best of luck Joe Panackia
One of the freshest ideas to come out of this game in quite some time!! Solid content!!👊🏻 Can't wait for future interviews!! Mad respect!! St. Louis.
Mark Wilson is my coach and Mentor you will not get a better coach or person anywhere in the world.
I this was an awesome story , I can’t wait to hear the next sequel. In life when I found pool on TV I always stopped and watched it. I was always excited when it was the Dutches of Doom playing . I personally truly thought no one could beat her !
What a wonderful idea! We need to spread the message!
