Growing up on the Bad River Indian Reservation in northern Wisconsin taught Cathy resourcefulness, personal responsibility, and how to take healthy risks. At 12, she earned her first paycheck and hasn’t stopped working since. Her early years in technology, programming, and systems implementation helped her support large groups through change and reinforced her belief that communication and behavior matter most in leadership. In 2003, she founded Wingspan Coaching Corporation® to help leaders develop their performance and communication. A few years later, we rebranded to Wingspan Performance® and created the Wingspan Performance System™—a framework for building high performance and healthy leadership cultures. When Cathy isn't working, she enjoys hiking with Ivan and their pups, practicing yoga, biking, and learning to ride her motorcycle. She loves cooking, hosting friends, and exploring new places. 

Ivan grew up in a military family, attending West Point in 1992, where he spent four years before becoming an infantry officer in the 3rd Infantry Division. In 2001, Ivan joined a mapping software/GIS company in Charlotte, NC. He quickly grew the Special Operations business line, managing high-stakes projects across the globe. He later transitioned into training and public safety, helping Law Enforcement and Emergency Management teams deliver mission-critical results. In 2018, Ivan joined Wingspan Performance® as VP of Operations and Performance Advisor, where he now helps refine the systems that support leaders and teams. His commitment to sustainability, repeatable tools, and attention to detail has shaped many of Wingspan's processes. Outside work, Ivan is an Eagle Scout, avid duck hunter, and enjoys mountain biking, motorcycling, and woodworking.

Lauren is the Director of Marketing & Media at Wingspan Performance®, where she's leading the company’s digital marketing expansion. Since joining Wingspan in late 2024, Lauren has developed bold, innovative strategies to increase visibility. Her work focuses on connecting with leaders around the world whose lives have been transformed by the Wingspan Performance System™ and sharing their stories. Prior to Wingspan, Lauren was a successful entrepreneur and multimedia marketing agency owner with a proven track record in social impact. Her career has taken her to 31 countries, gaining insight into diverse cultures and leadership approaches. She’s deeply committed to equity, particularly for women and minorities, and uses her work to create meaningful change. Lauren is a proud adoptive, special needs mama to a curious 5-year-old and lives in Northwest Florida with her husband and their giant St. Bernese dog, Gohan.
