As Account and Business Development Manager at ZeptoMetrix, Sophie New leverages a PhD in Tissue Engineering from Imperial College London, extensive research experience, and over ten years in sales to deliver tailored control solutions for diagnostic development.

Before joining ZeptoMetrix, she served as Regional Sales Manager at STEMCELL Technologies, leading a team focused on immunology and cell separation reagents across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics, driving market growth and customer support. 

Sophie is excited to be hosting the ZeptoMetrix podcast and bringing her expertise to the table, where she’ll dive into the latest developments in microbiology and infectious disease diagnostics alongside industry leaders and innovators.

Richard is a Business Development Manager at ZeptoMetrix.  Richard has spent the last 15 years in the molecular diagnostics industry.  He has worked at multiple diagnostic companies, ranging in specialties from microbiology, molecular, genetics, and oncology.  The common denominator across these companies is working with third party quality controls for assay development and standardization.

He is proud to host the Diagnostics Decoded podcast to tie the many faces of diagnostics to the rest of the world.  Richard is eager to dive into the latest developments in microbiology, infectious disease, and oncology.  His goal is to bring his experience and expertise to the table, as well as learn about the newest and latest trends that will help shape the future of the medical industry.
